We appreciate your visit of our website and your interest in our services. We take the protection of personal data very seriously and want you to feel safe when visiting our websites. We process personal data collected when you visit our websites in accordance with the legal provisions, in particular with the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG).

What are personal data?

Personal data are any data about a person making identification of this person possible. This includes: name, first name, your address and your e-mail address. You do not have to disclose any personal data to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name, address and further information to provide you with information requested or to reply to your request. In these cases, you will opt in. We will only store the data you have transferred to us automatically or voluntarily.

How do you process personal data?

In some places of our internet presence, we offer you the opportunity to contact us or utilise specific services. We will use any personal data transferred to us during this process only for the purpose you have rendered it for. We will not transfer your data to third parties.

Which data will be requested?

If this website offers the opportunity to enter personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses), these data are disclosed by the user on an explicitly voluntary basis. All services offered may be utilised–insofar as is technically possible and reasonable–without disclosing such data or by entering anonymous data or pseudonyms. By correctly entering optional data, however, you allow us to provide you with personal and individual support.

Is the confidentiality of e-mail correspondence/contact forms guaranteed?

Should you wish to contact us from your own e-mail account, we draw your attention to the fact that under certain circumstances the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be guaranteed.

Data collected and processed via our contact form will be encrypted before being transmitted. Please feel free to send us confidential information by post exclusively.

Do you log any data during my visit?

The respective access data with regards to any access of a user to one of the pages of our website and of any access to a file will be stored in a log file on our server.

  • domain, site and file views
  • page from where the file was requested
  • date, time
  • IP address
  • browser type, browser settings, operating system
  • access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)

Based on these data, we generate statistics which help us further adjusting our internet presence to your requirements. Personal information can only be derived from that if you register directly on our website and/or access our website from a personalised website. However, none of this data, including excerpts, will be transferred to any third parties.

Do you use cookies?

We might store information on your computer in the form of cookies when you visit our website. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on your hard drive. Only the internet protocol address – no personal data – will be stored.

We use session cookies on our website. This spares you from having to enter data repeatedly when filling in forms. This data will not be stored permanently. The cookies will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser so that it informs you as soon as cookies are sent.

If you have deactivated all the cookies in your browser, a so-called session ID will serve as your identification during a continuous access session on our website. No data will be stored on your computer in this case as well. The session ID will be deleted after your access ends.

How can I influence the use of personal data?

Of course, you are in complete control as to whether and for which purposes we may use your data. You can e.g. subscribe to our newsletter and unsubscribe at any time. Usually the newsletter includes a link to do so at the end allowing unsubscribing without any problems. Of course, you can revoke any permission you may have granted us for this purpose at any time.

Do you transfer collected data to third parties?

We will only use personal data for internal applications of customer relationship work. We will not pass on any information to third parties without your express and required consent. Personal data will be collected and transferred to the respective national institutions and authorities in strict accordance with the relevant legislation only and as per court order.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which are used to analyse your website usage. The information generated by the cookies regarding your website usage is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if you enable the IP anonymization feature on this website, your IP address will be shortened first by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states participating in the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your website usage, to compile reports on the website activities and to render other services in connection with the website and internet usage for the website operator.

The IP address transferred from your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by disabling the corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that if you disable cookies, you might not be able to use all functions of this website in their entirety. In addition to that, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookies and related to your website usage (including your IP address) to as well as its processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available.

This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. IP addresses will therefore only be processed in a shortened form to prevent persons from being identified.

This website uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plug-ins can be identified by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” symbol) or are indicated with the additional text “Facebook social plug-in”.

When you access a page of our website that includes a plug-in like this, your browser will create a direct connection with Facebook’s servers. Facebook will send the plug-in’s content directly to your browser and from there integrate it into the website. This means that we have no influence over the extent of the data Facebook obtains by using this plug-in and therefore inform you according to our state of information.

As a result of the plug-in integration, Facebook will be notified that you have accessed the respective page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can allocate the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, e.g. by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, the respective information will be transmitted by your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. Even if you are not a member of Facebook, there is the possibility that Facebook learns about your IP address and stores it.

Please obtain the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook as well as your rights and setting options related to this to protect your privacy from Facebook’s data privacy information.

If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect data about you while visiting our website or link this data to other information stored in your account, you must log out of Facebook prior to visiting our website.

You can also block Facebook social plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. using “Facebook Blocker”.

Our website features a “Kununu” button by the social network Kununu, operated by Kununu GmbH, Fischhof 3 Top 7, A – 1010 Vienna, Austria. This button allows you to establish a direct connection to the Kununu servers. We have no influence over the extent of the data KUNUNU obtains and transmits by using this plug-in. Please obtain the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Kununu as well as your rights and setting options related to this to protect your privacy from Kununu’s data privacy information.

If you do not want Kununu to allocate the visit of our website to your user account, please log out of your Kununu account prior to visiting our website.
